Meet Scott

Scott is deeply rooted in Irwin County with six generations of his family calling Irwin County home.  A 1996 graduate of Irwin County High School, Scott attended college at ABAC and VSU.  After college Scott began his career as a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed.  Within months the world would change.  September 11th created one of the worst markets in history which forced Scott to pursue other interest.  In 2004, Scott was blessed to marry Krystal Foskey of Coffee County.  Scott and Krystal worked to build a thriving business with 6 cellular phone stores, a women's boutique, and an apparel decoration business.   They have two children, Payton(19) and Kyle(16).  Since taking office in 2021 Scott has devoted his full time and attention to Irwin County as the Chairman and County Administrator.  Scott is currently the Chairman of the Ocilla-Irwin Industrial Development Authority, Vice Chairman of the Irwin County Hospital Authority, and sits on numerous other boards.  Scott enjoys spending time with family, bird hunting, and watching high school and college football.
